DEPARTMENTS
AND PROGRAMMES
There are six schools
in the College each of which is headed by a Dean.
The schools co-ordinate and monitor the activities of the
Departments under them. The
schools are those of Arts and Social Sciences, General Education,
Languages, Special education, Sciences and Vocational and Technical
Education.
There are
thirty-one departments which are spread into the six schools.
The departments which are the basic units of the academic
organisation carry out teaching and research.
Each Department is headed by a Head who is responsible to the
Dean of the school.
Non-Academic
Departments/Units
The
Non-academic Departments implement and co-ordinate the general
administration and the academic programmes of the College.
The
central administration which is headed by the Provost is divided
into the Registry, Bursary, Works and Services Departments and the
Library
