DEPARTMENTS AND PROGRAMMES

There are six schools in the College each of which is headed by a Dean.  The schools co-ordinate and monitor the activities of the Departments under them.  The schools are those of Arts and Social Sciences, General Education, Languages, Special education, Sciences and Vocational and Technical Education.

There are thirty-one departments which are spread into the six schools.  The departments which are the basic units of the academic organisation carry out teaching and research.  Each Department is headed by a Head who is responsible to the Dean of the school.

 Non-Academic Departments/Units

The Non-academic Departments implement and co-ordinate the general administration and the academic programmes of the College.

The central administration which is headed by the Provost is divided into the Registry, Bursary, Works and Services Departments and the Library
